If you're like a lot of the soon-to-be-mothers I meet, you may be a little camera shy right now. Especially when you're seven to nine months pregnant, And who can blame you! After all, your body has changed over the last several months and you PROBABLY feel uncomfortable even walking from the kitchen to the living room sofa.
Let me tell you something though, You are gorgeous. You are stunning. At this moment, you are the absolute epitome of natural beauty And every single picture we take together will showcase the inherent grace and elegance that accompanies all women with child.
My name is Ericksson and I would love to be your photographer!
I know that there are a large number of us photographers out there, specially a good number that like myself photograph baby bumps and help women commemorate such a wonderful milestone. If I was putting my salesman hat on, I would throw at you an entire pitch complete with facts, date and all sorts of probably boring information to sway you in my direction, but I am not … I am just a husband and father lending my experience and artistic eye to help you capture one of the most amazing memories in every image.
Here is what I will tell you: photography is my thing! You will always see me with my camera … but it was not always the case. I studied GRAPHIC DESIGN and spent most of my adult life in the service & sales industry, you know “climbing the corporate ladder” and all of that fun stuff. During this time I discovered photography and utilized it as a way of relieving the day-to-day stress of corporate America. Somewhere along this journey, I invested in photography courses, tools and experiences that further solidified the fact that one day this art form could become a greater part of my life. Fast forward to now - married for 2 years, father to the most beautiful little girl (in my eyes of course), and taking the plunge of turning my hobby/passion into a successful way of empowering women and capturing such special times in your lives.
My sessions are always relaxed yet extremely professional. I have developed efficient means to handling the business side of things in order to make this a great experience for you and anybody involved in this experience. I work as efficiently as possible to get all of your images to you as quickly as possible WITHOUT sacrificing quality and that WOW factor. I have been told that I have the type of personality and demeanor that allows people to relax and trust me - so I have that going for me!. I want to assure you that I will do all I can to ensure that this is one of the most amazing experiences during this time in your life - and while nothing can come close to the actual feeling of creating and nurturing life - I will help you see and capture that love, beauty and radiance with every single click of my camera.

Why do I do this …
Just like many of my colleagues, my photography journey started as a hobby and artistic passion. I knew that I wanted to turn said passion into a career but I first needed to figure out exactly what my “niche” was going to be.
I started by diving into Interior/Real Estate Photography and helped several friends and clients display their properties on social media, realtor sites, as well as sites like Airbnb & VRBO. I would also go for walks around different cities and dove into Street Photography (still my most favorite past time to date). I traveled and displayed my experiences, products and places I went to for companies and people alike to enjoy. Then one day, I was asked about doing a Maternity shoot for a family friend … and the rest is history.
Seeing her reaction and that of her partner and family gave me the satisfaction that I did not know I was looking for. The simple pure statement “I look beautiful” was all I needed to hear to understand that this was it - I found it!. From there I went on to photograph other friends and family members to continue to hone in and work on my craft - and then one of the best days of my life happened, my wife and I found out that we were going to be parents!
I definitely needed to capture this event for us to look back to and for my daughter to see how beautiful, confident and fierce her mother looked during her pregnancy. I went on to book us a “baby-moon” and took this opportunity to create by far my most favorite images. I wish I could capture the emotions and feedback my wife had when the reveal happened … this is why I do this … because every single one of you wonderful humans need to feel this way. You all need to be reminded and treasure how unbeliabibly special and beautiful you are!
Why should you do this …
All of the women in my life, from my mom and my wife, to my closest female friends, are nothing short of incredible, and I know you are, too. You so selflessly give and love and, sometimes, get so caught up in others and the day to day logistics of daily life and routines, that you forget to take a minute to appreciate yourself and the wonderful experience that you are going through right this second. Maybe you just want to commemorate this moment, or maybe you just want to be reassured or reminded “I am beautiful - and even more now!”
99% of the moms-to-be have once or twice said “I’m awkward in front of the camera” or “I’m not photogenic”. There’s no reason to feel like that, every one, every body, is welcome. I'm here to help you appreciate you. This experience is empowering: body, mind, and soul. You are perfect, and it's time for you to see that.
You deserve it!
